I am Maximilian Cojocea. I founded maehnenwolf business consulting with the aim of supporting companies in their sustainability work and equipping them with the tools they need to manage sustainability actively and independently.

I completed my university studies in the UK and Sweden, specialising in sustainable enterprise development. This sparked my interest in corporate sustainability and the role companies can play in shaping a more sustainable future. I then worked as a business consultant for a Viennese management consultancy where I learnt my trade in a variety of strategic and operational projects.

In 2021, I switched sides and took on the role of establishing and leading the group-wide sustainability management and ESG reporting of a large ATX company. Additionally, I managed various projects in the areas of compliance, risk management, digitalisation and master data management to make the added value of corporate sustainability management tangible across the organisation.

Thanks to my international background in six European countries and the challenges I have faced and overcome along the way, I approach new problems and unknown situations with a great deal of enthusiasm, ingenuity and flexibility in planning and implementation. And even if changes in organisations can initially trigger resistance, Simon & Garfunkel already knew how to reassure us: ‘after changes upon changes, we are more or less the same’.

With my interdisciplinary and intercultural expertise, I help companies to set the right course and implement measures that turn sustainability into a success factor.
