Companies are facing ever-increasing regulatory requirements, growing data complexity, and rising political and economic uncertainty. In this environment, the ability to make well-founded, robust and timely decisions is critical.

In practice, however, there is often a missing link between these areas: information is available but not structured in a way that supports decision-making or reporting. Responsibilities are unclear, and processes do not align.

About me – who is behind maehnenwolf?

I am Maximilian Cojocea, and I founded maehnenwolf business consulting in 2024 to support companies in maintaining their competitiveness and resilience over the long term, even in increasingly volatile economic and regulatory environments.

What shaped me most in this respect were my studies in business administration in the United Kingdom and Sweden, with a focus on sustainable corporate development – at the time a unique programme in Europe.

I began my professional career in Vienna at a partner-owned management consultancy, where I developed my advisory skillset across strategic and operational projects. This included international reorganisations, complex procurement processes in the banking sector, and the development and digital transformation of organisations and processes.

In 2021, I moved into an industry role, where I was responsible for establishing and leading the group-wide sustainability management and ESG reporting at a company listed on the Austrian ATX. In parallel, I led projects in risk management, compliance, digital transformation and data management.

At maehnenwolf, I now bring together both perspectives – the structured, analytical approach of consulting and the resource-conscious delivery accountability of an industry role. This combination results in practical solutions that meet regulatory and operational requirements while being effectively embedded within organisations.

And like my South American namesake – the maned wolf – I work independently, adaptively and with a sharp focus on what truly matters: creating, with minimal overhead, structures and content that provide clarity, enable sound decision-making and keep organisations on track in an ever-changing environment.
